Our signature 1st cut Timothy/Alfalfa mixed hay containing 10-30% of alfalfa is produced in Ontario, Canada and is packaged and sold in 21 bale bundles which fit perfectly at the end of a barn aisle way.  This hay can also be delivered in a 28’ drop trailer which contains up to 357 bales per trailer.

In the last three years, we’ve received much feedback from customers stating how much they love the quality of our Orchardgrass / alfalfa mix in three tie bales but were hoping we had the same high quality in just a pure orchardgrass bale. Our response? Let’s create our own orchardgrass hay program and only bale the leafiest, greenest, and softest windrows available. 

Sourced thoughtfully from a 5,000 acre custom hay operation in Idaho, our 2nd cut orchardgrass/alfalfa mixed hay is a perfect blend of 50/% alfalfa and orchardgrass packed into heavy 120+lb bales.

 Also known as “Polo Mix”, this 2nd cutting Timothy/Orchardgrass/Alfalfa hay from the heart of Alberta, Canada contains between 30-50% alfalfa and has been one of the more popular alfalfa/grass mixes for years. The alfalfa offers protein for energy, calcium, a higher percentage of digestible nutrients, and minerals that prompt horses to consume more water while the grass adds more fiber to the diet which helps keep horses feeling nourished for longer.

This premium alfalfa comes packaged in the traditional western three-tie format and contains an excellent leaf pattern with fine to medium stem thickness. Protein content average on this hay is 18.7% at 90%DM and is an excellent choice for working/competition horses as well as horses prone to ulcers and hindgut-related issues. 

H602 Alberta 2nd cutting Timothy is available in various grades, depending on the year. This forage is grown in meticulously managed stands under pivot irrigation in Alberta, Canada. The bale weight ranges between 50-55lbs and they’re packaged neatly into 21 bale bundles. A traditional 53′ van / intermodal container contains 777 bales.

THe H203 Timothy/Alfalfa hay consistently delivers on value and quality. Weighing between 55-60lbs, this hay is available for purchase by the short ton or by the bale. Full truckloads can be loaded in bundled packs of 21 bales and 18 bales or can be loaded in bulk (default).

Coastal Bermudagrass has been produced in the Southeast US for many years and serves as a lower-cost alternative to orchardgrass and other grasses. Additionally, it offers noteworthy levels of vitamin A, vitamin D, and provides enough nutrition for light working horses. For performance horses, alfalfa should be supplemented into the forage ration to maintain k/caloric requirements. Sold in a 4×5’ 650lb round bale.

Our first cut retail weight Double Compressed Timothy is popular among domestic and export clients alike. Whether you’re trying to pack an ocean container or a horse trailer for a weekend show, these compressed bales maximize efficiency by requiring less cube space per pound. Bale weight is 50lbs standard but can be pressed into 75lb bales, if required.

Our Premium Western 2nd cut Timothy in a three-tie bale is soft, green, and highly palatable. Popular with boarding facilities, recreational riders, show horses, and those feeding mature horses, our Premium 2nd cut TImothy has been a leading choice for consumers looking for a softer timothy hay option. Each bale weighs approximately 100lbs.

H601 Alberta Timothy is available in various grades, depending on the year. This forage is grown in meticulously managed stands under pivot irrigation in Alberta, Canada. The bale weight ranges between 50-55lbs and they’re packaged neatly into 21 bale bundles. A traditional 53′ van / intermodal container contains 777 bales.

Our three-tie Orchardgrass/Alfalfa mix hay is a beautiful, soft and green mix sourced from Colorado. This blend is approximately 90% orchardgrass and 10% alfalfa. Each bale weighs approximately 90lbs.

H608 Western Timothy 1st Cut is grown and harvested at the ideal stage of plant maturity baled in retail weight Three Tie bales. Being lower in protein and being high in digestible fiber, this incredibly palatable hay is ideal for backyard, endurance, and competitive horses alike and is also popular amongst small pet enthusiasts as well.

Longer fiber wheat straw is perfect for foaling and general bedding purposes. This straw is available in two-tie and three-tie bales, however, H301 is specifically packaged in 21-bale bundles.

This two tie Orchardgrass is grown in the high altitude dry region of Colorado. This orchardgrass is conditioned for optimum softness and the bales weigh approximately 60lbs. No preservatives are used on this hay.

Grown at a high elevation in the legendary San Luis Valley in Colorado, US (known for supreme grade alfalfa), this grass hay is produced in a low moisture climate that ensures its consistent, soft, palatable, high quality. This hay is an excellent, cost-competitive alternative for Orchardgrass because of its protein content and texture.

The bales range from 80-90Lbs ship in 14 bale bundles which offers the convenience of easy handling while maximizing the loaded quantity in 53′ van trailers to 560 bales!
